Vasaloppet 2025
Snälltåget takes you to Vasaloppet on 2 March 2025. The train will take you to Mora, and from there, buses will transport you to Sälen well in time for the start.
Train timetable
The train departs from Malmö Central at 14:00 and stops at Lund at 14:20, Halmstad at 15:50, Gothenburg (Göteborg) at 18:00, Alingsås at 18:30, Falköping at 19:00, Skövde at 19:20, and Stockholm Central at 22:00. The train arrives in Mora at approximately 03:00, and buses depart for the starting point in Sälen between 03:15 and 03:45 (the last bus leaves at 03:45).
The return journey departs from Mora at 21:25 and arrives at Stockholm Central at 00:55, Skövde at 04:10, Falköping at 04:35, Alingsås at 05:05, Gothenburg (Göteborg) at 05:40, Halmstad at 07:45, Lund at 09:25, and Malmö Central at 09:45.
The train has a restaurant, which on the journey to Mora is open until 22:00 and from 02:15 to 03:45. On the return journey, the restaurant is open from 18:00 to 24:00 and from 05:30 to 09:30.

Prices and booking
The prices below are per compartment for a round trip. They include the bus journey from Mora to Sälen and breakfast for all passengers on the way to Mora, and for all except Stockholm and Uppsala passengers on the return journey.
Breakfast includes a cheese roll, fruit, juice, and a hot drink (hot chocolate, coffee, or tea). Oatmeal porridge is served in the morning in Mora.
